How sharing your COVID-19 stories can help you to get through the pandemic

COVID-19 | Pandemic | Storytelling

The current COVID-19 pandemic is the first of its kind in living memory. An unforeseen one in a hundred-year event which has forced us to change the way we live our lives beyond recognition.

At a time where we are physically separated from our friends and loved ones and experiencing the anxieties that come with living with the unknown, sharing our stories has never been more important.

In order to offer support to one another, we want to hear your COVID-19 stories and about your experience of the pandemic. This could include but is not limited to:

  • Overcoming anxiety in the midst of a pandemic

  • How you’re keeping your children entertained whilst schools are closed

  • How to deal with the uncertainties of employment at this time

  • Your experience of being a key worker during the pandemic

  • Your experience of living alone during lockdown

  • Other things you have discovered whilst being in lockdown (this may be a new talent, something you’ve learnt about yourself, your outlook on life or something else)

  • A change you’re going to make to your life now you can see things from a different perspective

Your true life story can be any length, ranging from a few sentences to multiple pages (your choice!) We encourage people of all ages to share their true life stories and would also love to hear from your children about what they have learnt, enjoyed or disliked during lockdown.

We can’t wait to hear what you have to share!
