Family Is the Most Important Thing to Me.

My grandad was a master tailor. He would always wear a waistcoat, jacket and had this collar with a button at the back. He’d sit me on his lap and read Rupert bear.

When I was at school they chastised me because my dad wasn’t in the army. But he saw more of the blitz than most of the others. He was a fireman in London during the war. He lost one of his colleagues who was trapped between 2 fire engines. I am so proud of him.

I also have a brother and a sister. My sister had a stroke 2 days ago and I am so worried about her.

I’m from Hertfordshire originally. I came to Cornwall 12 years ago. I used to come on holiday here with my family. I would buy all the leaflets I could find so when I came back to Hitchen I’d take them all out and look at them all and think I wanna go down there again. Suzanne my wife and I split 15-16 year’s ago but we speak every day. She has her life and I have mine, we don’t want to be angry with each other or anything like that. We speak every day, it’s just one of those things.

I nearly died two times; once from cancer and once someone pushed me down the stairs.

I’m so happy. I want people to have a good life. If you look out the window at the moment its pissing it down with rain but what a lovely day. It doesn’t matter if it’s raining or sunny, it’s a lovely life
