My biggest achievement this decade – How I became a Civil Engineer
10 years ago, I started my A-levels with high hopes of becoming a medical professional. A-levels were the hardest period of my education. Still hopeful I completed my A-levels in Biology, Chemistry, Psychology and Religious Studies; however, I didn’t meet the grade requirements to study the course I wanted.
First Day At Work Trouble
I was really excited to start my new job, I wanted it to go well and was gearing up for it all week. My sister and I had a pampering session a few nights before with luxurious face exfoliant and it made my skin glow!

Janine – NHS Suspension Story

At that time it was considered to be a bold and unusual move – I heard later that the Chief Executive of my London employer had given the news to the Board with the comment that I was ‘deranged’ to do it.
Luck and Confidence
I believe that you can do better in life if you have the self-confidence to move forward positively into challenges. This is the story of how my career advanced compared to my friend Ben.
Move Over ADHD Insecurities, I’m at Uni Now!
My name is Izzy (Izz), I’m 22, a student, nanny and ski instructor and, I ‘suffer’ with dyslexia, dyspraxia, dyscalculia and ADHD – I know, it’s A LOT.
Racism Still Exists in The City of London
On 19 December 2019, I resigned with immediate effect from a FTSE 250 financial firm based in London. On the basis of a repudiatory breach of contract. I was subjected to work in a toxic environment filled with racism, discrimination, anti-Semitism, harassment and bullying.
